Massage Career Advice

Here is some massage career advice to help you get your massage business started. Many new therapists don't know how to get their careers off the ground. It can be overwhelming, but the hardest part is just getting started.

When I decided to be a massage therapist I started talking to other therapists to get the true story behind the job. I wanted to know the good, the bad and the ugly about massage. I was eager to learn and living in Florida where there are many working massage therapists made it easy for me to find out about the massage business.

Not everyone is as fortunate as I was. I have a friend who knows someone who lives and works as a massage therapist in Norway. She is the only massage therapist in her area. That's good for her business, she has clients who drive for hours to see her, but it's not good for brainstorming business models with other therapists.

Luckily, we have the internet. The web is a great place for massage therapists to communicate with each other. We can share our business successes and mistakes to help other therapists do better in their careers.
